THE BRIEF

A simple time-lapse video to present as part of a a live demonstration. The video depicts a corrosion reaction, resulting in a change in pH (acidity) and consequently we can observe a colour change from yellow to green/blue.

What’s interesting though is how this colour change came about; the swirling, turbulent patterns had not previously been observed and potentially opens new areas of research exploration as to why these systems behave this way.

Such information could prove vital to reducing costs and prototype iterations for a potential anti-corrosion product.
